With over a decade of experience in commercial specialist and leadership roles in the coal and hard rock mining industries, Zane Cude is the founder and Managing Director of QD Consulting.
His expertise in strategic planning, financial risk management, and connecting operations to financial outcomes shapes how the firm approaches every engagement.
Zane established QD Consulting in 2023 on the values of Service, Integrity, Accountability, and Return on Investment. He holds every engagement to them personally.
Sanjeev Unni CPA
Principal - Commercial
Brisbane, QLD
Sanjeev leads QD Consulting’s Commercial services with over two decades of experience in finance and commercial roles, including the last fourteen years in the coal and copper mining industries. His experience spans Australia and Zambia, where he has led finance and commercial functions across junior greenfield operations as well as established tier-one assets.
His expertise in leadership, team building, and strategic planning and analysis has been built in roles including Commercial Manager, Finance Manager, Business Planning & Analysis Manager, through to Acting Chief Financial Officer for Glencore’s Mopani Copper Mines in Zambia.
Across it all, Sanjeev’s focus remains the same: bridging the gap between operational and financial data so that commercial decisions rest on evidence rather than instinct.
Kevin Hong CA
Commercial Accountant

Kevin is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in the Australian Mining industry since 2018, across coal and copper operations for KEPCO Bylong, Glencore’s CSA Mine and Yancoal Australia. He is proficient in both financial and management accounting, a combination that lets him move easily between statutory reporting and commercial analysis.
At QD Consulting, Kevin is a key contributor to the detailed work of each engagement, and works through complex problems quickly in close contact with our clients.
Kevin’s approach is calm and collaborative, and clients get a straight answer and a solution rather than a caveat.
PAULINE BLACKWOOD

A fifteen year veteran of human resources management in mining and other heavy industries, Pauline is an invaluable resource that our clients can access to provide advice on all people related matters.
Experienced as the Director of Human Resources (Australia & New Zealand) for a large international company, our clients can feel comfortable that Pauline exceeds in providing guidance on a range of human resources areas, including industrial relations, employee and organisational development, recruitment, and talent management and succession planning.

With over twelve years of experience in the coal and hard rock mining industries, Linda Westbrook has held key managerial roles in both small-medium companies and tier-one international organizations. Linda’s General Manager-level experience equips her to provide comprehensive advice on risk management, compliance, training, and health and safety. Her strategic approach and tailored solutions make her an invaluable asset to our clients.

Business Administration Officer
